Grote Markt
The Grand Place is a picturesque urban plaza in Brussels buzzing with swarms of locals and tourists from all over the world. Dating back to 1174, the cobblestone plaza was initially used as a marketplace and has remained a formative site in Belgium’s historical landscape. Guildhalls, the city’s Town Hall, and the Maison du Roi (King’s House) surround this bustling public square.
