âBierâ
Beer is a large part of German culture and the famous HofbrĂ€uhaus is a brewery in Munich that serves up large mugs of beer to festive crowds. It was founded in 1589 by the Duke of Bavaria, Wilhelm V and is one of the cityâs oldest beer halls. Brewing beer in accordance with the âBavarian Beer Purity Lawâ, the HofbrĂ€uhaus uses only the four ingredients of water, malt, hops, and yeast.
