The Hall of the Second Month
Located on the hillside of Mount Wakakusa, Nigatsu-dō is one of the important structures of the Tōdai-ji shrine in Nara, Japan. Dating back to the 8th century, the building was reconstructed in 1669 after a fire destroyed the original structure. The temple has been designated a National Treasure. A small prayer room can be found in the rear of the temple, where this sound of chanting was captured in 2015.
