Meiji Shrine is a Shinto shrine in the Shibuya area of Tokyo. It is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. It is a popular spot for Shinto weddings, and serves as an active shrine. Visitors pray by clapping and dropping coins into the donation box.
